Apparently, you no longer have to throw your money down the drain by buying expensive detergents and stain cleaners, which are not always as effective as they claim to be, as according to people’s experience, all you need is a bunch of common household ingredients to achieve perfectly white and stainless clothes.

What’s more, besides the fact that these ingredients are probably already in your kitchen, they are also completely natural and safe to use.

The following are some common household ingredients that can help you get rid of stubborn stains and achieve pure white clothes:

  1. Lemon & Vinegar

Lemon juice combined with vinegar makes a great, natural stain removal agent. This powerful duo will help you eliminate even the toughest stains from your clothes. Make a solution out of lemon juice and vinegar in 1:1 ratio, and wash your clothes with it. Your white clothes will finally be stainless! In addition, this solution will also bring back the original white color your clothes had in the first place, and make them smell really good.

  1. Aspirin

Aspirin is yet another effective way to remove wine and food stains and restore white clothes’ original, bright color.

Fill a large bowl with water and add six crushed aspirins in it. Mix well and put your stained white clothes in the mixture. Allow them to soak for about half an hour, and then rinse off with your usual detergent. You will be quite amazed by the excellent results you’ll get!

  1. Baking Soda

This common kitchen ingredient is one of the most versatile and effective tools to have in your household, and stain removal is just one of its many uses. To make an excellent stain removal solution, dissolve one cup of baking soda in four liters of water. Put your clothes in it and allow them to soak for several minutes. Your clothes will soon restore their initial, pure white color.
